A report published by the National Italian Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) on September 15th, 2010, which covered the period between 2008 and 2009, revealed that an estimated 10.5 million women in Italy, aged 14 – 65 years, had experienced at some point in their life sexual harassment in the workplace.
